Great German composer Wilhelm Richard Wagner was born on May 22, 19813 in Leipzig, Germany and died on February 13, 1883 in Venice, Italy. He influenced classical European music a lot, having offered the idea of total art-work. It is described by themes associated with special characters or plot elements. It can be seen in his monumental opera Der Ring des Nibelungen consisting of four parts - Das Rheingold, Die Walküre, Siegfried and Götterdämmerung.
