Vader is a Polish death metal band from Olsztyn. It was formed in 1983. The group consists of Piotr "Peter" Wiwczarek, Wacław "Vogg" Kiełtyka, Paweł "Paul" Jaroszewicz and Tomasz "Reyash" Rejek. According to Piotr Wiwczarek, the band's founding singer and guitar player, the band's name was inspired by Darth Vader from the Star Wars film series. In 1992, Vader released their first album, The Ultimate Incantation, which you may download in mp3 from our site. It spawned the songs from their previuos demo, Morbid Reich (1990). In 1995, the band released their next album, De Profundis. Their fifth album, Revelations, was released in 2002. The album featured guest appearances from two Polish metal musicians: Nergal of Behemoth provides vocals on the track "Whisper", and Ureck of Lux Occulta plays keyboards on "Torch of War" and "Revelation of Black Moses".
