Gossip is an American indie rock and dance-punk band that was formed in 1999 by vocalist Beth Ditto, guitarist Brace Paine, and drummer Kathy Mendonca, and currently comprises Beth Ditto, Brace Paine and Hannah Blilie. The band was relatively unknown until they hit success when their single Standing In The Way Of Control was featured in the advert for controversial UK Teen drama Skins from their third studio album, Standing in the Way of Control.
