B12 is a British techno-duo from London, England, consisting of Michael Golding and of Steve Rutter. The duo worked under such monikers as Musicology, Redcell, Cmetric and under some others. The duo began its activity in 1990 but announced about finishing in 1998. Though they reunited in 2008 and released two more records Untitled and Slope adding them to their quite rich discography. The duo is known for starting their own label B12 and taking Detroit techno sounds in England. The label became one of the most remarkable record companies which exploited the idea of the “intelligent techno” as it was popular among progressive electronic musicians of that time.
