Japanese artist Gackt Camui was born on July 4 in Okinawa, Japan. The exact year of his birthday has never been published. He is a singer-songwriter and musician multi-instrumentalist playing piano, drums, guitar, bass guitar, trumpet and traditional Japanese instruments. He speaks Japanese, English, French, Chinese and Korean. He rose to fame as the member of the bands Cains:feel è Malice Mizer but in 1999 she began his solo career. He created his backing band named GacktJOB and with them he records his albums and performs live. His solo career appeared to be very successful building a solid following not only in Japan but abroad as well. All his performances feature theater and choreography acts combining traditional Japanese and European elements. He released eight studio albums and the last one is titled Diabolos.
