Alexander Rybak was born on 13 May, 1986 in Minsk, Soviet Union. But later when he was nine years old his family moved in Norway where he began a musical career as a pop singer and songwriter. Now he lives in Norwegian town Nesodden. He went to represent Norway at the 54th Eurovsion song contest in Moscow, Russia and won it, getting the record number of votes, i.e. 387 points. Each country gave him some points (except Norway). The song "Fairytale" was written specially for the contest by him and it was included in his debut album "Fairytales". It has become the lead single as well. You can download Alexander Rybak’s hit number one from our site in mp3 format. Before this popularity in 2004 he got the Anders Jahre Culture Prize and won teleshow Kjempesjansen with his song Foolin. He collaborated with Morten Harket from A-ha and with violinist Arve Tellefsen.
