Biography

American bluegrass-country singer and fiddler Alison Krauss was born on July 23, 1971 in Decatur, Illinois, the US. She performs since the early years, beginning at 10 when she won the local contest. She recorded for the first time at the age of 14. Right now she is both a solo artist and performs with a band under the name Alison Krauss and Union Station (AKUS). Her first album entering the Billboard charts was a solo one I’ve Got that Old Feeling earning her the first in her career Grammy Award.
