Amos Lee is an American jazz fusion, soul, folk and blues singer-songwriter and guitarist. He was born on July, 15 1977, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, U.S. Some of his musical influences include Stevie Wonder, John Prine, Bill Withers, and James Taylor. He collaborates with drummer Fred Berman and bassist Jaron Olevsky and they often performs together. He also was on tour along with such popular musicians as Bob Dylan, Elvis Costello, Norah Jones, Paul Simon, and Merle Haggard. His self-titled debut album was released in 2005 and it was produced by Lee Alexander (bassist from Norah Jones' band). The album achieved commercial success, and also reached number 2 on the Billboard Top Heatseekers chart. The album's track, "Keep it Loose, Keep it Tight", was featured on the show Conviction (NBC). To promote his debut album, he also performed on popular TV shows including The Late Show with David Letterman, Austin City Limits and others.
