An English DJ, remixer and record producer Paul Oakenfold was born on 30 August 1963 in Greenhithe, Kent, UK. He became prominent for his acid trance which he played in Ibiza when he celebrated his birthday. He became a real star after the release of his album Pills 'n' Thrills and Bellyaches. The album reached first position on the UK albums chart, it was named “the album of the year” in 1990 and Paul got the BRIT award next year as the best producer. He became the first DJ who played on the main stage of the Glastonbury Festival for 90,000 people. He produced for U2, Massive Attack, Simply Red, New Order and for many others. He remixed Madonna’s songs such as What It Feels Like For A Girl, Hollywood, American Life, Sorry, Britney Spears’s Gimme More.
