Ottmar Liebert is a Chinese-German new age, folk, pop and Latin singer and musician. He was born on October 17, 1959, in Hamburg, Germany. He began his career with his first album, Marita: Shadows & Storms (1989), which was not a huge success but received very positive reviews from critics. He also signed to Higher Octave record label. In the early 1990s, he released his breakthrough album, Nouveau Flamenco, which spawned his first hit singles such as "Surrender To Love", "Santa Fe", "Barcelona Nights", "Flowers Of Romance", "3 Women Walking", "2 The Night" and "Lonely Hours".
