Biography

John Mellencamp is a Grammy-winning American rock and folk singer-songwriter, musician, painter and occasional actor. He was born on October 7, 1951, in Seymour, Indiana, U.S. His musical sound is often considered as rootsy, organic brand of heartland rock that is combined with pop sounds. His music also reflects society problems such as politics difficulties and racism. His musical influences are Bob Dylan, Woody Guthrie and The Rolling Stones. He quickly gained popularity in 1982 with his breakthrough album, American Fool, which yielded the hit singles, "Hurts So Good" and "Jack & Diane". His first compilation album, The Best That I Could Do 1978–1988, was released in 1997. And now, you may download this compilation album by John Mellencamp in mp3 from our site.
