Biography
Welsh mezzo-soprano classical and crossover singer Katherine Jenkins comes from Neath, Wales, the UK, born on June 29, 1980. Being a classical singer, she has reached mainstream success and became one of most popular singers in the genre. She graduated from Royal Music Academy and received a music teacher’s diploma. In the Academy she studied French, German, Italian and Russian. She released her debut album Premierу in 2004 and quickly gained the popularity as her album reached number 1 on the UK Classical chart. Her next album Second Nature was released the same year and went on Platinum making her the first British crossover classic artist to have two number one albums in one year.
