Lil Wyte (birth name Patrick Lanshaw) is an American rapper and southern rap singer-songwriter. He was born on October 6th, 1982, in Memphis, Tennessee, United States. He rose to fame in 2002, when he appeared on Project Pat's song "Crash da Club". During this time he joined to all-white hip hop band, Shelby Forest Click. And later, he attracted the attention of Three 6 Mafia band. But this band very soon broke up. And former band's members Juicy J and DJ Paul decided to sign the rapper. They also worked later with his debut album. His debut album Doubt Me Now was released in 2003. This album became an underground hit among fans. Later he signed to Asylum Records and released his following album Phinally Phamous. In 2007, he released his third and breakthrough album The One and Only.
