Ava Leigh (birth name Hayley Carline) is an English reggae, pop rock and reggae fusion music singer and songwriter. She was born on 22 November 1985, in Chester, England, United Kingdom. She started her musical career as a lead vocalist of the school's jazz band. As a teenager, she was heavily influenced by soul, R&B, jazz and gospel music styles. She came to prominence with her breakthrough debut hit single, "Map About The Boy", which reached Top 30 in the UK. It became her most high charting song to date. Following the success of this single, she released her debut album, Rollin', in 2008. This record spawned the tracks, "Burnin'", "Can't Stay Away", "La La La", "Rush" and "Breathe".
