Riley B. King, known by his stage name BB King was born on September 16, 1925 in Itta Bena, Missisipi, the United States. He is an American blues guitarist and singer-songwriter having a worldwide acclaim for his outstanding long music career. According to Edward M. Komara King “introduced a sophisticated style of soloing based on fluid string bending and shimmering vibrato that would influence virtually every electric blues guitarist that followed.” He has become one of the main figures on the R&B scene since 1950s when he produced an impressive list of hits including such songs like Three O’Clock Blues, Please, Love Me, You Upset Me Baby, Everyday I Have the Blues, Bad Luck, Sweet sixteen, Pt. I and many others. During his career he received 15 Grammy Awards including Lifetime Achievement Award. His last album is titled Live At the BBC.
