Beach House is an American dream pop and indie rock band from Baltimore, Maryland. It was formed in 2004. The group consists of Alex Scally on guitar and keyboards and Victoria Legrand on vocals and organ. The band's influences include The Zombies, Brian Wilson, Neil Young and Big Star & Chris Bell. In 2006, Beach House released their self-title first album, Beach House, which was included in Pitchfork's Best Albums of 2006 list, and which you may download in mp3 from our site. The album produced the songs, "Saltwater", "Childhood" and "Lovelier Girl". The band's following album, Devotion, was released in 2008. "Gila" was the first single of the album. The group also contributed a cover of Queen's "Play the Game" for the iTunes Store release of the Red Hot Organization's 2009 compilation, Dark Was The Night.
