Biography

American alternative rock band The Bloodhound Gang comes from Collegeville, Pennsylvania and was formed in 1992 by Jimmy Pop and Daddy Long legs. At first the band was named Bang Chamber 8 but later changed the name to The Bloodhound Gang. The band came through several line-up changed and right now the band members are Jimmy Pop (lead vocals, rhythm guitar, songwriter), DJ Q-Ball (turntables, keyboard, backing vocals), Jared Hasselhoff (bass guitar), The Yin (drums, percussion) and Daniel P. Carter (lead guitar). The band signed to Columbia Records in 1995 but they reached the mainstream success only in 2000 with a release of their breakthrough album Hooray for Boobies, which propelled them to the stardom.
