Biography

American alternative metal band Breaking Benjamin was formed in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, in 1998. The group composes of Benjamin Burnley, Aaron Fink, Mark Klepaski and Chad Szeliga. The group got its name when Benjamin Burnley was covering Nirvana song in a club and broke a microphone stand. The most successful band’s release is their third and the last album Phobia (2006). It yielded the hit number one Breath, the best group’s achievement so far. Phobia was certified platinum in 2009. Previous albums We Are Not Alone and Saturate brought only moderate success. The group’s best singles besides Breath are So Cold, The Diary of Jane, Sooner or Later. The band toured around the US with Three Days Grace, Seether, Skillet and Red. Now they are working on their next album which will be titled Dear Agony.
