American singer, songwriter and musician Brendan Benson was born on November 14, 1970 in Royal Oak, Michigan, the United States. His style can be classified as rock, indie rock, power pop, and alternative rock. He plays guitar, bass guitar, keyboards and drums. Benson is known as a solo artist and as a part of the band the Raconteurs. He released two albums with the bands and four solo albums. He has released also several singles including "Folk Singer", "Tiny Spark", "Good To Me", "What I'm Looking For", "Feel Like Taking You Home" and others. The only charting single is "Spit It Out" reaching number 75 on the UK Singles chart. His last solo albums is titled "My Old, Familiar Friend”.
