Brian Jones (born Lewis Brian Hopkin Jones; 28 February 1942 – 3 July 1969) was an English rhythm and blues, rock and roll, psychedelic rock and pop music artist. He was best known as one of the initial members of the worldwide popular rock band The Rolling Stones. His parents were very interested in music. It is not surprise that he decided to be an artist since his childhood. As a teenager, he was heavily influenced by jazz music. At the age of sixteen, he started playing the saxophone. A year later, his parents presented him the acoustic guitar. He achieved mainstream success as a solo artist with his breakthrough album, Brian Jones Presents - The Pipes Of Pan At Jajouka, which yielded the singles such as "55 (Hamsa Oua Hamsine)", "War Song - Standing - One Half (Kaim Oua Nos)" and "Take Me With You My Darling, Take Me With You".
