Buddy Holly, birth name Charles Hardin Holley was born on September 7, 1936 in Lubbock, Texas, the United States and died in airplane crash on February 3, 1959 in Grand Township, Cerro Gordo County, Iowa, the U.S. He is considered a rock’n’roll legend and one of the most influential artists for the early rock. He became popular only year and a half before his sudden death, his input is great. The Beatles, the Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan and many others were inspired by his songs. He was married and died when his wife was pregnant. He is inducted in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Rolling Stone ranked him number 13 on their list of "The Fifty Greatest Artists of All Time".
