Biography

Cassius is a French house and electronic music band that was founded in 1988 by two producers Philippe Cerboneschi and Hubert Blanc-Francard. They are also well known as Philippe Zdar and Boom Bass. They quickly gained popularity in the late 1990s, with their commercially-successful debut album , 1999, which spawned several hit singles such as "Cassius 99" and "Feeling for You", both of which reached Top Ten on the U.S. Hot Dance Club Play chart. This album also received positive reviews from critics. Now, you may download Cassius' breakthrough debut album, 1999, in mp3 from our site. Their following album, Au Rêve, was released in 2002. It produced the smash hit, "The Sound of Violence" (featuring Steve Edwards), which peaked at number one in the United States dance charts and became on of the band's most popular singles. In 2006, they released their third album, 15 Again, which included collaborations with hip-hop producer and performer Pharrell Williams, Sébastien Tellier, -M-, Etienne de Crécy, and Le Knight Club.
