Biography

British electronic dance music act Chicane was created by Nicholas Bracegirdle in 1996 in London, England. Nicholas was born on February 28, 1971 in Chalfont St. Giles, Buckinghamshire, England. Since early age he began studying playing music instruments like classical guitar and piano. But he was always influenced by Jean Michelle Jarre, by Vangelis, by synthpop pioneer Vince Clarke. During his career Nicholas has already released three albums Far From the Maddling Crowds, Behind the Sun and Somersault. His biggest hit is the song “Don’t give Up”, a collaboration with Bryan Adams. It debuted at #1 on the UK chart replacing Madonna’s #1 single American Pie. The song did well in Australia, Russia and across Europe as well. The song entered the album Behind the Sun and you can download in mp3 Chicane’s hit number one from our site.
