American country music duo Court Yard Hounds comes from Austin, Texas, the United States. The duo was formed in 2009 by the Dixie Chicks members Martie Maguire and Emily Robinson. The Dixie Chicks went on hiatus in 2008. Maguire and Robinson wanted to record a new album but the third member Natalie Maines was not ready for coming back to studio. Maguire and Robinson organized a side project and decided to record the new songs under the name Court Yard Hounds. Many members from the Dixie Chicks backing band took part in the album recording and the album itself was recorded in Maines studio. The debut self-titled album came out in May 2010 and was released through Columbia Records. The album spawned a single “The Coast” and promo singles "It Didn't Make a Sound" and "See You in the Spring" (with Jakob Dylan). You can download this album by Court Yard Hounds in mp3 from our site.
