Craig Pruess is an American new age music composer, musician and arranger. He was born on October 10, 1950. He rose to fame as a record producer and arranger for worldwide famous artists such as Anu Malik, Sarah Brightman, Sheila Walsh, Massive Attack, Def Leppard, Cliff Richard, Bond, Katie Melua, Manic Street Preachers, Def Leppard and Pascal Obispo. He also wrote numerous soundtracks for different films such as Bride & Prejudice, Bend It Like Beckham, What's Cooking?, Bhaji on the Beach. He gained popularity as a solo artist with his album, 108 Sacred Names of Mother Divine, which produced several singles such as "Ganesh invocation", "Devi prayer" and "Lalitha ashottaram". In 1999, he released his biggest hit "Millennium Prayer", which reached number one in the UK and it has been certified platinum.
