Biography

English indie rock band The Cribs was formed in Wakefield, West Yorkshire, England in 2001. The band comprises brothers Jarman – Gary, Ryan and Ross and ex-member of The Smiths Johnny Marr. The band has been labeled as “Lo-Fi” due to their unpolished sound. The second album The New Fellas was recorded with help of Edwyn Collins of Orange Juice and the two bands sound very alike. The follow up album Men's Needs, Women's Needs, Whatever saw more collaborations and more positive approach to recording. The album was mixed by Andy Wallace who had previously worked with Foo Fighters and Nirvana. The album spawned the band’s biggest hit to date, namely Men’s Needs. The song was included in the Rolling Stone magazine list of 100 Best Tracks of the Year. From our site, you can download this album by Cribs in mp3 from our site.
