Biography

Dan Fogelberg, birth name Daniel Grayling Fogelberg was born on August 13, 1951 and died on December 16, 2007. He was an American rock and folk rock singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, playing guitar, piano, bass and mandolin. During his career, he was influenced by classics, jazz, bluegrass and it was reflected in his music. He began his music career in 1972 releasing debut album Home Free. The album quickly made him popular. It reached number 2 on the Billboard 200. Later he gained even more success releasing four 2 x Multi-Platinum albums – Souvenirs (1974), nether Lands (1977), Phoenix (1979) and The Innocent Age (1981). That was the peak of his career.
