Dean Brody is a Canadian country music singer, songwriter and musician. He was born on October 15, 1975, in Jaffray, British Columbia. At the age of twenty, he moved to Nashville, Tennessee to develop his professional musical skills. There he caught the attention of the managers from Broken Bow Records label. He emerged on the American country music scene in 2008 with his debut breakthrough hit single such as "Brothers", which was highly praised by critics. It also reached 10 on the Canadian Radio & Records Country Singles chart and number 30 on the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. A year later, he released his self-titled commercially successful album, Dean Brody, which reached Top Five on the Top Heatseekers Billboard 200 in the US. It also spawned the singles, "Dirt Road Scholar", "Gravity", "This Ain't the Same Town (That I Painted Red)", "Lazy Days", "Brothers" and "Old Joe Riley".
