Biography

American country music artist Deana Kay Carter, better known as just Deana Carter was born on January 4, 1966 in Nashville, Tennessee, the United States. She is a daughter of a famous singer Fred Carter Jr. She has her own band that supports her during the live shows. The band members are Jeff Carter - Lead Guitar/Vocals, Randy Leago - Keyboard/Vocals, Cary Beare - Bass/Guitar/Vocals, Shawn Jones - Guitar/Vocals and Keio Stroud – Drums. Carter has released eight albums including one Christmas album and a live one. She rose to fame with her debut album “Did I Shave My Legs For This?” Initially, the album was released in the UK, but her label ceased to exist shortly after the album release, she decided to issue it in the North America.
