Dionne Warwick, birth name Marie Dionne Warwick was born on December 12, 1940 in East Orange, New Jersey, the United States. She is an American singer and actress who became popular collaborating with songwriters and producers Hal David and Burt Bacharach. Warwick is known to provide vocals for the Grammy-winning charity song “We Are the World” along with Michael Jackson, Tina Turner and Diana Ross. She also participated in another charity project recording the song “That’s What the Friends Are For” with Elton John, Stevie Wander and Gladys Knight. Some of her solo hit singles are Then Came You (with Spinners), Message to Michael", "Walk on By", "Anyone Who Had a Heart, "I'll Never Love This Way Again", "I'll Never Fall in Love Again", "This Girl's in Love with You", "Do You Know the Way to San José" and others.
