Biography
Italian composer and conductor, Ennio Morricone, born on November 10, 1928 in Rome, Italy. He is one of the most popular and famous composers nowadays who has contributed a lot for the film industry collaborating with directors and writing film scores. His world sales are about 50 million copies including. Two his most well known and successful works are for the films The Good, The Bad & The Ugly (1966) and Le Professionnel (1981) which includes composition “Chi Mai”. Each of them sold about 3 million records. He wrote music for such films as The Untouchable, Bugsy, The Mission, Inglorious Bastards and many others (about 500 films). Morricone is one of the most influential composers having even his tribute band. He has an Order of Merit of the Italian Republic and received Honorary Academy Award for “magnificent and multifaceted contributions to the art of film music”.
