Biography

Erasure is an English synthpop, electropop, dance and new wave band that was founded in 1985 and currently comprises famous pop musician and songwriter Vince Clarke, who previously worked with Depeche Mode, and dance music DJ Andy Bell. They quickly gained popularity in the mid-1980 with their debut album, Wonderland, which received generally positive reviews from critics. It also yielded the band's first successful hit single, "Who Needs Love Like That", which reached number 8 on the Irish Singles Chart and number 10 on the UK Singles Chart. In the late 1980s, they released their most commercially successful album, The Innocents, which produced several hits such as "River Deep, Mountain High", "A Little Respect", "Ship of Fools" and "Chains of Love". It also reached Top 50 on the Billboard 200 and was certified platinum two times in the UK. Now, you may download Erasure's best selling album, The Innocents, in mp3 from our site.
