Spanish music duo Estopa was founded in Cornella, Barcelona, Spain in 1998. The duo composes of two brothers - David Muñoz Calvo (born January 10, 1976) and José Manuel Muñoz Calvo (born November 13, 1978). David is a lead vocalist and occasionally plays guitar, while his brother Jose is a lead guitarist, back vocalist and occasional lead singer. The duo creates a unique music, which doesn’t fit any single genre. Their works fuse rock, rumba, flamenco and “sonido callajero”. The group quickly rose to fame after the release of their debut self-titled album. The album yielded a hit single "La Raja de Tu Falda" that would become Estopa’s classics. The next album “Destrangis” appeared in 2001 and continued the band’s success, spreading it to the rest of Latin America. You can download Estopa’s first two albums in mp3 from our site.
