Biography
British pop duo Eurythmics was formed in London, England in 1980 by Scottish front woman Annie Lennox and English musician Dave Stewart. The duo disbanded in 2005 and during all that time they had a strong following and great commercial success with a series of Platinum albums in the UK and in the US. The band has topped the Billboard Hot 100 with their first massive hit "Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)" (1983) and the UK singles chart with their one more hit "There Must Be an Angel (Playing with My Heart)" (1985). Some other their hits include such songs - "Here Comes the Rain Again", "Sexcrime (Nineteen Eighty-Four)", "Missionary Man", "I Saved the World Today" and others.
