Biography

Faith Hill (birth name Audrey Faith Perry) is an American country singer and actress. She was born on September 21, 1967, in Ridgeland, Mississippi. Her vocal talent was apparent very early. After working as a secretary in a Nashville music publishing firm, she recorded a demo tape and was signed to Warner Bros. Records. In 1993, Faith Hill released her breakthrough album, Take Me as I Am, which you may download in mp3 from our site. The album produced four singles. The first two, "Wild One" and "Piece of My Heart", reached number 1 on the Billboard magazine Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart. In 1999, she released her multi-platinum album, Breathe, which spawned the hit singles, "Breathe", "The Way You Love Me", "Let's Make Love" (with Tim McGraw) and "If My Heart Had Wings". Breathe is one of the most successful country albums to date, selling over 8 million copies in the US alone. In 2001, she recorded a song for the Pearl Harbor soundtrack. "There You'll Be" was nominated for a 2002 Grammy for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance and for an Academy Award for Best Original Song.
