Fatboy Slim (birth name Norman Quentin Cook) is an English electronic dance, big beat and trip hop musician, producer and disc jockey. He was born on 31 July 1963, in London Borough of Bromley, Brighton, United Kingdom. He quickly gained popularity in the early 1990s with his album, You've Come a Long Way, Baby, which has been certified platinum in the USA and debuted at number one on the UK Albums Chart. It also reached number two on the Billboard Top Heatseekers. You've Come a Long Way, Baby spawned several hit singles, "The Rockafeller Skank", "Gangster Trippin", "Praise You", "Right Here Right Now", and "Build It Up - Tear It Down".
