Biography
Felicia Lily Dobson, better known under her stage name Fefe Dobson is a Canadian pop rock singer-songwriter from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. She always wanted to become a singer and began sending out her home recorded demos to North American record companies at the age of 11. She was influenced by many bands like Nirvana, Red Hot Chili peppers and by such artists like Michael Jackson, Lionel Richie, Cyndi Lauper, John Lennon and July Garland. At first, she was signed by Jive Records who wanted to make her a pop singer, but Dobson disliked that idea. She signed to Island Records and released her debut pop rock album Fefe Dobson in 2003. The album went on Platinum in Canada. The second album Sunday Love was not officially released. The record label dropped Dobson before the album release.
