Biography
American rock band The Flaming Lips comes from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, the USA and it was formed in 1983. The current band members are Wayne Coyne (lead vocals, keyboards, theremin, bass,guitar), Michael Ivins (bass, keyboards, backing vocals), Steven Drozd (guitar, drums, percussion, keyboards, bass, backing vocals) and of Kliph Scurlock (drums, percussion). The breakthrough to the mainstream success happened only in 2002 with a released of their tenth album Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots. You can download this breakthrough album by The Flaming Lips in mp3 from our site. The album spawned several singles like “Do You Realize??”, “Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots Pt. 1” and “Fight Test”. The song “Do You Realize??” has been has been chosen as the official rock song of Oklahoma. The band has three Grammy Awards and one BRIT award nomination.
