Robert William Gary Moore, better known as Gary Moore, is an Irish blues and rock musician, songwriter and producer born on April 4, 1952 in Belfast, Northern Ireland, the UK. He is a very influential artist who contributed a lot to the hard rock genre especially to the so-called “melodic hard rock”. However, he covered many other genres and surprised critics and funs playing jazz, country, heavy metal etc. Primary he is considered blues-rock artist. During his long career, he has collaborated with such famous artists like George Harrison, Ozzy Osbourne, The Beach Boys, Andrew Lloyd Webber and many others. He played with such bands like Skid Row, Thin Lizzy and Colosseum II. His solo career lasts for many decades and he has released many studio albums, compilations, and live albums.
