George Michael, birth name Georgios Kyriacos Panayiotou (Γιώργος-Κυριάκος Παναγιώτου) is an English-Greek singer-songwriter born in London on June 25, 1963. During his solo career and the time when he was a member of the duo Wham! he has sold about 80 million colies. He has received two Grammy Awards for the Album of the Year (Faith, 1988) and for the Best R & B duet with Aretha Franklin.
