Italian pop, soul, R&B and jazz singer Georgia, birth name Giorgia Tordani was born on April 26, 1971 in Rome, Italy. She is one of the most popular Italian singers who could break through to the American market. She has released 13 albums and began her career in 1994. Her first public performance was held at San Remo music festival. She didn’t won the prize, but caught an attention of some famous singers, like of Luciano Pavarotti. He invited her to sing at his annual concert Pavarotti & friends where she amazed the audience by her great vocal abilities and general performance of the Queen’s hit “Who Wants To Live Forever”. That was a breakthrough to the mainstream success. She sang duet with Andrea Bocelli ("Vivo per lei") and later sang “Georgia on My Mind” at the Ray Charles concert.
