Biography
English heavy metal band Iron Maiden hailed from Layton, East London, England in 1975. The band changed it’s line-up and current members are Bruce Dickinson, Janick Gers, Steve Harris, Nicko McBrain, Dave Murray and Adrian Smith. Steve Harris is the band’s founder, unchangeable leader and the author of most of their songs. The band is considered to be one of the most successful heavy metal bands having produced series of gold and platinum albums and having influenced the metal development in general. Iron Maiden have sold more then 70 million copies worldwide, had many world tours and got lots of awards and nominations, so they are fully recognized in the music world.
