Biography
Jason Desrouleaux, better known as Jason Derulo was born on September 21, 1989 in Miami, Florida, the United States. He is an American singer, songwriter, actor and dancer working in such genres like pop, dance and R&B. He has been performing since his childhood and the beginning of his serious career in the music industry was connected with songwriting for Diddy, Danity Kane, Donnie Klang, Sean Kingston, Cassie, and Lil Mama. He intended to start his solo music career and to become a recording artist. Derulo was found by J. R. Rotem who signed him to his label Beluga Heights Records and to Warner Bros. Records. The debut single “Watcha Say” has become a smashing hit and reached number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, number 3 on the UK Singles chart, number 3 on Canadian Hot 100.
