Joe Nichols is an American country music singer and songwriter. He was born on November 26, 1976, in Rogers, Arkansas, USA. He quickly gained popularity in 2002 with his most commercially-successful album, Man with a Memory, which produced his biggest hit singles including "The Impossible", "Brokenheartsville" (his first Number One), "She Only Smokes When She Drinks" and "Cool to Be a Fool". The album's lead single, "The Impossible", peaked at number 3 on the Hot Country Singles & Tracks in the US. Other track, "Brokenheartsville", was a huge success and became his debut number one hit single on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks.
