Biography
American composer, conductor and pianist John Towner Williams was born on February 8, 1932 in Queens, New York City, the United States. Williams is known as prolific composer and the author of music themes for such blockbusters as Star Wars, Indiana Jones series, Jaws, first three Harry Potter movies, Superman, Jurassic park, Schindler’s List, Munchen, War of the Worlds, The Patriot, Sabrina, Home Alone and many many others. He’s the author of music for four Olympic Games – in Los Angeles in 1984, in Seoul in 1988, in Atlanta in 1996 and in Salt Lake City in 2002. He also created television themes and original concerti for different instruments. During his career he won 5 Oscars for such films as Star Wars, Jaws, E.T., Schindler’s List, and for Fiddler on the Roof. You can download John Williams’ soundtracks in mp3 from our site.
