Biography
German electronic and synthpop band Kraftwerk from Dusseldorf, Germany was formed in 1970 by Florian Schneider and Ralf Hütter. Since that time, the band’s line-up has changed several times and the current members are Ralf Hütter (synthesizers, organ, lead vocals; bass guitar, drums, percussion), Fritz Hilpert (sound engineering, electronic percussion, sequencer), Henning Schmitz (sound engineering, electronic percussion, live keyboards) and Stefan Pfaffe (video technician). The band is considered one of the most influential in the electronic music. The band has released 13 studioa albums. The most remarkable ones are Autobahn and Tour de France Soundtracks.
