Marie McDonald McLaughlin Lawrie known as Lulu Kennedy-Cairns is a British singer-songwriter, actress, model and television personality who was born on November 3, 1948 in Glasgow, Scotland. She began her successful career in 1960s and she is still prominent. Lulu was awarded by the Oder of British Empire, she represented the UK at the Eurovision song contest 1969, performed the theme song for the James Bond movie The Man with the Golden Gun (1974). During her career she collaborated with such iconic persons like Elton John and Paul McCartey. She recorded with them an album of duets. She also appeared at American Idol, supported Barack Obama for the President of the US. In 1990s she returned on the top spot of the charts with a song recorded together with Take That.
