Biography

American band Meg and Dia comes from St. George, Utah, the United States and was formed in 2004. The band was founded by two sisters Meg and Dia Frampton who began playing as an acoustic duo and later extended the line-up till the full size band. The current band members are Mia Frampton (rhythm guitar, vocals), Dia Frampton (lead vocals, keyboards), Nicholas Price (drums), Jonathan Snyder (bass) and Carlo Gimenez (lead guitar). The band is known to be influenced by literature. Many of their songs are based on books, like “Tell Mary” was based on Mary by Vladimir Nabokov, “Indiana” was based on Indiana by George Sand. “Courage Robert” was influenced by and was written about famous composer Robert Schumann.
