Michael Hutchence, birth name Michael Kelland John Hutchence was an Australian rock singer-songwriter and musician born on January 22, 1960 in Sydney, Australia and died on November 22, 1997 in Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Sydney. He is known best of all as a member of the band INXS and one of the main their songwriters. He co-written almost all the band’s songs with Andrew Farriss. Hutchence was talented lyricist. The last INXS album with Hutchence is Elegantly Wasted. He began working on his solo album in 1995. The album was released only in 1999. It was co-written and co-produced by Hutchence and other artists like Andy Gill from Gang of Four, Bernard Fowler, Tim Simenon of Bomb The Bass and others.
