American rock band Mute Math, known also as MUTEMATH and MuteMath was formed in New Orleans, Louisiana, the United States in 2003. The ban’s line-up consists of Paul Meany (keyboards, vocals), Greg Hill (guitar), Roy Mitchell-Cardenas (bass) and of Darren King (drums, samples and programming). The band’s sound can be classified as alternative rock and post-rock. The band has released two long play albums and one extension play. The debut release Reset EP was issued in 2004. The debut full length Mute Math came out in 2006. The record peaked at number 17 on the Top Heatseekers chart and spawned two singles. The first one “Typical” reached number 34 on the US Alternative chart and number 33 on the US Modern Rock. The second single “Control” failed to chart. However, the band received a Grammy nomination in the category “Best Short Form Music Video” for “Typical”. From our site, you can download the debut album by Mute Math in mp3.
